Pissed in Paris
I swear other looking at me through other people's eyes just looks wrong. That's not me! It cannot be. I don't look like that, I swear. [a little voice says "get over it!"] So, frankfurt airport and paris... I figured I'd get the 'me' overwith and then upload the cool bits.

Whenever I see any pictures of myself, especially if I didn't know the picture was being taken, I feel a strange sense of detachment from the image. I wonder, do people see me the way I see the image of myself?

In the first picture, you so look like a friend of mine, I thought you had taken a snapshot of her in the airport. She has really nice tattoos and is very sweet and nice (she has a book of poetry too).

I do agree that the picture does not fit how I imagined you from previous pictures, but I think you look very good all the same.

Could be! #1 and 3 are NOT me. They just looked me-ish, since I've gained some weight, which makes me look younger. i could never get my hair under control. One of my co-travelers took it while I was held up looking for my baggage, but her flight was gone by the time I arrived. Otherwise I would have sat down beside her quietly just to see what happened.

Since I have no good pictures of me this trip, or much this year, I was thinking I'll start just using pictures of others who look like me... but that would be too much work.

I prefer older pictures of me too... they feel more real.
